Blog about Jordan Day, The day I wished I was in Jordan

 blogaboutjo.png

The day I realized how much I love this country, the day I wished to be with every single Jordanian on the streets to scream

بالروح بالدم نفديك يا أردن

When I was calling all my friends and family back in Jordan, everybody was telling me how everybody are getting together, as hard as it was, but on that day I felt so strong, I kept on listening to every single radio station that is streaming from Jordan to hear people’s reaction, and I couldn’t be more proud to be a Jordanian they kept on repeating

يا جبل ما يهزك ريح

I'[m sorry for el post el neked! But reading everybody’s posts made me so emotional

This  song makes me cry every single time I hear it

  و يا بلدنا يا

WHAT A MOTHER!!

I just don’t get it, some mothers don’t even deserve to be mothers, I’m sorry but yes this is the truth, the painful truth!!

Lisa, a mom of adorable girls, Amanda 9, and April 13 years old, is the worst nightmare can happen to these girls, I think they would be happier if they have the devil as there mom more than having this woman!!

Amanda has down syndrome, she is the purest and cutest girl you can ever meet, until her mom decided to give her away at the age of 8 because “she can’t take of her anymore” stating that this girl :had ruined her life”!! What a B*%$#**%$#

Did I mentions that she is an alcoholic and used to be a drug addict? She decided to keep the “healthy” kid and give the center the “sick” as she calls her!! I mean I’ve never been this mad in my whole life, how can give up your child after 9 years? No I mean can you give up your child to start with???????

Her answer was so simple “I didn’t plan to have her, some people asked me to, and when she was born, they discovered that she had Down syndrome, they changed their mind, and I got stuck with here”

Didn’t I tell you that is the worst night mare for these girls? The two sisters are apart for almost 2 months now, 2 days ago was Amanda’s birthday, and her nanny gave the best birthday party ever, and did the poor girl asked for… “Are mommy and April coming??”

I was about to cry, no I actually cried, I wonder what kind of heaven under those mom’s feet???

Celebrating You……

 Someone will always be prettier.

Someone will always be smarter.

Someone’s house will be bigger.

Someone will drive a better car.

Someone’s children will do better in school.

And Someone’s husband will fix more things around the house.

So let it go, and love you and your circumstances.

Think about it.

The prettiest woman in the world can have hell in her heart.

And the most highly favored Woman on your job may be unable to have children.

And the richest woman you know, who’s got the car, the house, the clothes….might be lonely.
And the word says if “I have not Love, I am nothing.”

So, again, love you.
Love who you are.
Look in the mirror in the morning and smile and say
“I am too blessed to be stressed and too anointed to be disappointed!”
“Winners make things happen. Losers let things happen.”
Be Blessed ladies and pass this on to encourage another woman.
“To the world you might be one person, but to one person you just might be the world”

Joke of the Day….

A guy was telling his friend that he and his wife had a serious argument the night before.“But it ended,” he said, “when she came crawling to me on her hands and knees.”“What did she say?” asked the friend. The husband replied, “She said, ‘Come out from under that bed, you coward!’”

“I respect women and I’m the freak?”

bruce-dickson.jpg

American Idol has not been my favorite show ever, but I am extra disappointed in the judging this year. Bruce Dickson, a very talented vocalist from Bastrop, Texas was given the boot by the judges after professing that he has never kissed a girl and that he is saving that first kiss for his wedding day. While it may sound too good to be true, there still are guys out there who are saving themselves for marriage. Yes, Hollywood, it can be done.Bruce’s audition turned into quite the hot topic after the judges remarks aired last week as well as some parting comments by Ryan Seacrest who spouted off “Maybe next year he’ll come back less a boy and more a man.” Anyone with half a brain can see that Bruce is more of a man than Ryan could ever hope to be. Bruce’s response to Ryan’s comments were nothing short of brilliant, “A real man would rather wait than just do whatever with whoever.”

Check out Bruce’s interview and audition…

As you can tell, Bruce can sing and sing well! He was as good or better than anyone else that made it to the Hollywood round, so there was no legitimate reason for the judges to dismiss him. Simon’s comments were that he had a “nice voice for a room, but not for radio or tv”. What the heck? That makes no sense in today’s high-definition, digital EQ world.  And when Bruce asked for some parting advice, Randy says to him “Go kiss some girls.”  Now how will that help his music career?  Give me break!

Bruce would make a fabulous American Idol role model and I can’t believe that AI has overlooked this gem of an artist because he actually has values and standards. American Idol – you just made a big mistake. Huge.

Bruce’s simple response to the situation says it best. “I respect women and don’t think of them as a sexual object, and I’m the freak?”

What is a Feminist?

This quote today got me thinking… and honestly, I kinda agree with her.

“I myself have never been able to find out precisely what feminism is; I only know that people call me a feminist whenever I express sentiments that differentiate me from a doormat or a prostitute.” ~ Dame Rebecca West

So what do you think? How would you describe a feminist?
