LET THEM BE..!!!

I don’t know why I always get fed up with this kind of people.I seldom, or I can say I never like to argue with others. But then, I don’t know why that whenever I have a conversation with those people, always end up in a frustration mood.

Well, they never agree with others. What’s in their opinion is always right and others are always wrong. Yes, never, and not a single thing that they ever agree with. What make me frustrated is that when they feel like they are about to lose, they will raise up their voice to support their opinion.

Let them be, I got nothing to lose. And there is no right and wrong after all.

You Still Have Hope…

If you can look at the sun and smile, then you still have hope.

If you can find beauty in the colors of a small flower, then you still have hope.

If you can find pleasure in the movement of a butterfly, then you still have hope.

If the smile of a child can still warm your heart, then you still have hope.

If you can see the good in other people, then you still have hope.

If the rain breaking on a roof top can still lull you to sleep, then you still have hope.

If the sight of a rainbow still makes you stop and stare in wonder, then you still have hope.

If the soft fur of a favored pet still feels pleasant under your fingertips, then you still have hope.

If you meet new people with a trace of excitement and optimism, then you still have hope.

If you give people the benefit of a doubt, then you still have hope.

If you still offer your hand in friendship to others that have touched your life, then you still have hope.

If receiving an unexpected card or letter still brings a pleasant surprise, then you still have hope.

If the suffering of others still fills you with pain and frustration, then you still have hope.

If you refuse to let a friendship die, or accept that it must end, then you still have hope.

If you look forward to a time or place of quiet and reflection, then you still have hope.

If you still watch love stories or want the ending to be happy, then you still have hope.

If you can look to the past and smile, then you still have hope.

If, when faced with the bad, when told everything is futile, you can still look up and end the conversation with the phrase… “yeah….BUT..” then you still have hope.

Hope is such a marvelous thing.

It bends, it twists, it sometimes hides, but rarely does it break.

It sustains us when nothing else can.

It gives us reason to continue and courage to move ahead, when we tell ourselves we’d rather give in.

Hope puts a smile on our face when the heart cannot manage.

Hope puts our feet on the path when our eyes can not see it.

Hope moves us to act when our souls are confused of the direction.

Hope is a wonderful thing, something to be cherished and nurtured, and something that will refresh us in return.

And it can be found in each of us, and it can bring light into the darkest of places.

MY GRANDMOTHER’S NEWS…

I was suppose to keep you guys updated about my grandmother’s condition, but unfortunately I  didn’t get the chance to do so.

she was doing well, my mom is taking good care of her, everyone was surprised, it was like magic, she was fully awake, and she even remembers me every time I call, I had the chance to talk to her the few times she was awake.

I was extremely happy for her and for my mom as well, she really needed to see her awake and able to talk, I know how much it means to her to hear “alah yerda 3aleaki yamma” from her mom every times she does something for her, my mom was calling me and I could feel the excitement in her voice when she tells me “Settek ate my dawalai today, and she loved it”.

But for the past few days, my grandmother started to feel bad, looks like the fact that  my mom is leaving her soon is making her feel sicker and sicker every day..

she is suppose to take 2 blood units every week to provide her body with the blood that her bones are not making any more, she used to feel much better after this procedure, but for the past couple of times it wasn’t helping as it should, my mom told me that her face would still look pale, and she feels so sick for some reason after finishing her treatment…

I know that the main reason is her fear of staying all alone after my mom leaves, I wish we can do something to help.. but again, you have to do what you have to  do…. “Allah Yel3an Abu EL “3orbeh” …

May God have mercy on us.

May God help us and her and everybody around us to endure this hard time in our life.

May God Choose the best for her and for us as well.

Strength…

It’s sometimes found

in unexpected places.

In the warmth of the sun

on our skin.

In the sound of a bird’s

soft call.

In the joyous laughter

of a small child.

In the love of a special

friend.

In the unexpected letter

that comes our way.

In the beautiful sight of

friendship’s smile.

In the soft embrace of someone

who cares for us.

In the words of kindness

spoken with concern.

In the soothing flow of

the tide as it rushes in and out.

Small things, sometimes not always noticed.

They give balm to our soul,

and uplift our spirits.

Small pieces of strength

help us to move on and put

one foot in front of the other.

Soon those footsteps lead

us on our new path.

A stronger path

because we’ve shared our

strength.

Life’s Treasures

Take time to look around you

To see the wonders that exist.

There are small daily miracles that can be found in your world.

Sometimes the worries of the day block our vision, keep us from seeing past our own cares and concern.

But if we slow down we can find that the most important moments of our lives are also the ones most easily missed.

How can we find peace in ourselves if we miss the beauty that we walk in?

Breathe

Relax

Take the time to notice.

Your contentment will follow.

I wish for you the time today to find the small treasures of life 🙂 .
